Concert Week Update!

This is our BIG CONCERT WEEK!  Join us on Wednesday, May 9th at 6:30pm in the Lyman HS Auditorium for a gathering of all our bands in celebration of this school year!
 Just a few reminders:
 

1. Report time for all students is between 5:30 and 6pm.  Jazz Band and Beginner Band members will find their spot on stage, Concert Band and Symphonic Band members will be sitting in the audience with their parents upon arrival. Come fully dressed and please leave your instrument case in the car!

 

1. Beginning Band! Please don’t forget a folding wire music stand for your portion of the concert: we don’t have enough stands for everyone in your band. Thanks for your help in bringing your own stand!

 

1. Don’t forget that after the concert, we have our instrument check in: ALL SCHOOL OWNED INSTRUMENTS MUST BE TURNED IN AFTER THE CONCERT.

     We need some helpful parents with a large van/truck/car who would be willing to help move instruments from Lyman to Milwee after the concert. We are looking for about 4-5 vans/tucks to help with this: once your vehicle is loaded, you would head over to Milwee to drop off the instruments and cases. This takes about 20 minutes if we have enough help!!! Thanks for volunteering!
 
​4. LASTLY! The Jeremiah's Italian Ice on 17/92 (near Dogtrack Rd) is hosting a fundraiser from 3pm until after the band concert (ends around 9pm)! A portion of all sales for those who mention Milwee Band will be donated back to us. This is also a great way to enjoy some fellowship and celebrate the end of a fantastic concert! We hope you can join us before/after the concert for a sweet treat!
