ALL CLASSES: PARENTS, PLEASE SEE THE FLYER BELOW
VIP: We had our BAND FUNDRAISER KICK OFF yesterday! We will be selling our usual cookie dough and cheesecake that we have done in the past. Students were given a very nice brochure and information sheet regarding fundraiser information, prize information, collection day procedures -- please review this with them at home tonight! Please direct questions regarding this fundraiser to myself or Ms. Kilby. See the attached FLYER for more information and contact info!
*PLEASE NOTE* Our first turn-in day is next MONDAY, October 12th, and features a “double prize pulls” for students. Parents, tomorrow might be a great day to bring your packets to work! Thank you for your support of our program as we are looking to pay off our extensive repair bills that we have accrued so far this year (we already owe almost $4000 in repairs on school owned equipment!).

Beginner (3, 4, 6) -- We will be working on the first and second studies in our Milwee Beginning Band Book -- the most important thing is for students to play with a "characteristic tone" on their instrument. Parents, make sure they are practicing and it is very helpful to look up professionals on YOUTUBE to demonstrate what their instrument should sound like.
Symphonic/Concert (1,2) -- We continue to prepare for the fall concert in both Symphonic and Concert Bands! So proud of they work both classes are doing – I can’t wait for you all to hear them at the fall concert!
Thank you all for your dedication and support of our great music program!
Best wishes,
Joshua Autrey
